Welcome to Wake Up To Sleep
Your sleep journey begins here
The lesson continues after the video.
What This Journey Is About
Wake Up To Sleep is not a sleep program in the conventional sense.
It is a six-week training in how your nervous system relates to safety, pressure, and rest.
If you are here, you likely already know what it's like to be exhausted and alert at the same time.
You may have tried tracking, optimizing, forcing routines, or "doing everything right."
This program begins from a different understanding:
Sleep does not fail.
It withdraws when the nervous system does not feel safe enough to let go.
Why We Start This Way
We intentionally do not begin by analyzing your sleep habits, bedtime routines, or sleep hygiene.
Changing behavior in a vigilant nervous system creates more effort, not more rest.
Instead, this program focuses first on:
- Awareness without judgment
- Presence without force
- Regulation through lived experience
- Restoring trust inside the body
Only after those capacities are established do we look at habits, environments, and rhythms—when your system is ready to learn without bracing.
The Six-Week Arc
Each week builds on the last.
- Wake Up -- Seeing sleep clearly without self-blame or urgency.
- Being (Buddha Practice) -- Learning to meet thoughts, emotions, and inner parts without reacting.
- Breathe (Budō Practice) -- Teaching the body safety through breath, posture, and embodied movement.
- Belong (Attachment Practice) -- Exploring how relationship, safety, and connection shape rest.
- Balance (Sage Practice) -- Developing a wise relationship to effort, desire, and truth.
- Integration -- Living these capacities in real life, where sleep is lived—not managed.
Progress comes from consistency, not perfection.
The Guidebook
Each week of the program corresponds to a chapter of the Wake Up To Sleep guidebook.

Assessment & Baseline
Before beginning, complete the Sleep Quality Survey linked below.
There are no right answers.
This is not a test.
It simply establishes a baseline so we can observe how regulation and rest unfold over time.
A Final Orientation
This is training, not performance.
Nothing needs to be forced.
Nothing needs to be perfect.
Show up.
Practice honestly.
Let the nervous system learn.
Welcome to the Sleep Dojo.
This is where we train.
